Berry Creek Cancer Fund

The Berry Creek Cancer Fund (BCCF) began 14 years ago as a committee to raise money through a golf tournament at Berry Creek Country Club in support of women with breast cancer. Since then, the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Georgetown, TX, opened its doors and is now the designated recipient of our fund raising efforts.

The annual golf tournament has grown to include more sponsorships, a live auction and raffles. All proceeds stay in the Georgetown area. Our goal is to give as much money to the charity as possible by keeping our expenses very low. We’ve been able to do so because of generous contributions from sponsors, donors and committee members. We’ve achieved our goal to raise over $50,000 net funds each year for the past three years. And through the services of the BCRC, we hope to make a difference in the lives of breast cancer fighters and their families.

Thanks for making 2011 our best year ever!

On October 6, 2011, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Berry Creek Cancer Fund presented a check for $52,652 dollars to the Breast Cancer Research Center (BCRC) in Georgetown, TX.

We extend a big Thank You to all our sponsors and donors for your continued support of this charity golf event. Each year you choose to support our efforts by introducing new golfers to the tournament, participating in the auction or donating goods and services to offset tournament costs. Because of your generosity, our expenses were just 8%. Our goal is to give as much of our donors’ money to the BCRC as we possibly can and deliver the greatest return for your contribution. And all these funds remain here locally to serve the Georgetown area. It is a joy to work with such caring, responsive people in our community. We thank you for your kindness.
